Users of Apple’s Dev Center Report unauthorized password resets
Several developers who are members of Apple’s developer program have had to deal with attempts to reset their password. Possibly trying to get malicious access or something went wrong on Apple’s servers.
Many of the affected developers reported of password resets on Twitter, as noted include Neowin on. The conscious users of Apple Dev Center have one or more e-mails in which an application was received to reset the password. How many developers have had to do this is not known.
It is still unclear what the reason is, but one possibility is that malicious attempts have been made to gain access. To the accounts Another possibility is that Apple itself has the emails sent by mistake.
Although Apple has not yet commented on the case, the developer portal are temporarily taken offline. The Status page enables to cope with maintenance takes longer than expected the company. It is likely that this has something to do with the attempts to set password resets, but an exact reason was not given.
