Vaio announces new Vaio Z laptop
The Japanese company has the Vaio Vaio Z laptop revived. The former Sony brings branch in Japan a high-end 13.3 “-ultrabook with battery life of over 15 hours. In addition, there is a canvas version with detachable keyboard.
The new Vaio Z with a Core i7-5557U or Core i5-5257U equipped , both in combination with Iris 6100 GPU. The laptop gets 8GB or 16GB of memory and a PCI-E SSD with storage capacity of 128, 256 or 512GB. The matte 13.3 “screen resolution of 2560×1440 pixels shows and can be folded to a tablet mode. The laptop is 16,8mm thick and features an aluminum and carbon fiber, which leads to weight 1.34 pounds.
The battery life is according to the company 15.2 to 15.5 hours and this would be achieved by changes to the cells of the battery, while a special display option for smaller viewing angles, but can provide longer battery life. Vaio also has its Vaio Z Canvas announced ; 2-in-1 Laptop with 12.1 “screen with resolution of 2560×1704 pixels, the company which already showed a prototype.

The new Vaio Z is 190,000 yen in Japan costs converted is 1410 euros. The Vaio Z Canvas is a little more expensive. Both systems come in May in Japan. Or a global launch follows is still unknown.
