Valve explains brand Chaperone fixed

Valve appears to have established the brand Chaperone. The description that the developer does not want to use the brand name for a game, but for a device that has something to do with virtual reality. Details are not known.

From the database of the United States Patent and Trademark Office shows that Valve earlier this month submitted an application to establish the brand. According to the description which would like to use for the ‘hardware and software, sensors and beacons for the detection and measurement of movement of physical objects and the representation of those objects in a virtual world’.

Valve has been working on virtual reality products. It is working with HTC to Vive, a VR glasses similar to the Oculus Rift. Perhaps Chaperone is the camera name that Valve will use to track the user’s head movements. On the outside of the Vive is placed a number of infrared reflective dots, which can perceive the camera so as to follow the movement of the head. It could mean that Valve and HTC camera as optional consider and if want to bring a separate product market. Valve has released no details about himself Chaperone.
