Players may no longer purchase by Valve Anti-Cheat protected Steam games in large quantities and pass at later times to other accounts. Cheaters would use this to be able to easily play a different account after they are caught cheating.

Valve sets new rules for gifts on Steam set up a support page. Players can select games now only buy immediately for themselves or immediate to buy another; store multiple copies in the inventory is not there anymore. In addition, the company reports that when a consumer makes a gift to another game and the recipient will be banned, that the sender of the game after that particular game can never do more gift.

The new rule applies to both VAC -based games like Game Ban support. Among the latter are multiplayer games where the developer has been given the authority to ban a cheater complete a game. At present supporting 98 games VAC, including CS: GO, DayZ and Rust. It is not known how much support Steam games Game Ban.

Steam Valve says to “understand that the restrictions on Steam gifts can be annoying for players who do not have evil intentions,” but the company clearly in this case combat priority to foul play. “We believe that these steps will ensure that you meet online less cheaters.”
