Valve is working on VR controllers that let users grasp objects




Valve is working on the development of new controllers for Sun-glasses, enabling users to grasp objects. Users stabbing their hand in a sort of ring, which is provided with sensors. During the Steam Dev Days Valve showed the concept.

The current controllers that should always be kept supplied with the HTC Vive by the user. A trigger is already possible to pick up in games or VR experiences objects, but the way that happens is more natural for the new controllers.

Valve has announced no concrete plans for the release of the controllers. At this time, concerns the prototypes and it is also not HTC or clearly involved in the development. HTC is the hardware partner of Valve, together the companies brought the VR goggles Vive on the market.
