Valve uses Source 2 engine for free
Valve officially announces that it is working on a new version of the Source engine. Valve also allows the use of Source 2 free. In addition, the studio announced Steam Link to a cabinet which games can be streamed to other devices in the home.
Valve announces the arrival of Source 2 during the Game Developers Conference, being held this week in San Francisco. Valve makes little loose on the new game engine. The studio is only known that the engine can handle Vulkan , the graphics api which was known until recently as Next Generation OpenGL.

The announcement of Source 2 is not entirely new. Gabe Newell, president of Valve, showed in 2012 that was already loose working on a completely new version of the Source engine. Newell then stated that he did not know what game is going to be used for the new engine. Even now Valve has not yet released where the Source 2 for going to use.
Valve announced Steam further link to a cabinet which games can be streamed. The link can games in 1080p and 60Hz streamed from a PC or a Steam Machine. Games can be operated with Valve’s own Steam Controller. The device will be available from November. The US price is $ 50, converted about 45 euros. Before Valve delivers only the cabinet.
