Fiction thriller “Face of the Future” with Tom Cruise in the lead role was released on Russian screens in June 2014 and received very high marks critics. What happened on the set of this spectacular blockbuster? Let’s see.

“Face of the Future” (in the English original Edge of Tomorow) is based on the Japanese novel “All you need – is to kill” (2004) writer Hiroshi Sakuradzaki, later turned into a manga (Japanese comics).

The plot of the war between earthlings and aliens brutal, which is almost impossible to win in a fair fight. The protagonist, played by Tom Cruise, as a result of a combination of circumstances is endowed with supernormal aliens: after his death, he is reborn the day before, and at the same time remember everything that happened to him. A sort of “Groundhog Day”, but dark and about aliens. Thus, he begins to scrutinize the enemy and develop a strategy for fighting, dying over and over again, gaining valuable experience in parallel.
