The system was on display at Display Taiwan 2013 exhibition for the first time recently and was including new manufacturing technologies. The Micro LED display contained in the present in the form of a prototype glasses has a diagonal of 0.37 inches and with 427 × 240 pixels. The technique used here should be able to get by with even less power than OLED displays. Already, one achieves a brightness of 1500 candelas per square meter, while using about 15 lumens for 1 watt.

By the end of the year will continue to increase energy efficiency in order to achieve 30 lumens with a watt. There is currently only prototypes with monochrome (green) lights.
