Vivaldi brings final version of the browser in a few weeks




Vivaldi is planning to soon get his browser out of beta. On the Chromium-based browser has been available for several months in the test program, but should appear as final in a few weeks.

Ruari Ødegaard, employed by Vivaldi, that has let know in an interview with Softpedia. The software would already be stable enough to use as a primary browser and must therefore “very fast” are released. Versions for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux are planned for the final release, said the CEO. This put an end to a months-long beta period, which in November began .

Vivaldi is designed by Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder of Opera and until 2010 CEO of that company.
