Vivo hints on new sub-brand iQOO

Chinese smartphone developer Vivo has placed a cryptic, futuristic image of a city on Weibo with the text ‘Hello, this is iQOO’. According to Mysmartprice it could be a new sub-brand.

Whether and when the new brand will release mobile phones is unclear at the moment, it seems that it will become a sub-brand of Vivo. For example, Mysmartprice writes that an domain name has been registered by someone from the Chinese smartphone developer. AndroidAuthority says there was a concise history of Vivo on that site. At the time of writing, can not be reached.

Vivo raffles a new iQOO smartphone on Wednesday according to the Weibo message and writes: “pay attention to the new iQOO smartphone”. Presumably, more details will be available on the new brand on Wednesday.

It would not be the first time that a Chinese manufacturer with a sub-brand comes, previously came Huawei with Honor, Oppo with Realme and Xiaomi with Poco.
