Vodafone and KPN give share customers for an additional fee access to 4 g
Who in a certain period of time has become customer KPN or Vodafone, can access the 4 g network at an additional cost. The option does not apply to all customers. T-Mobile gives free access to all existing customers correct his future 4 g network.
LTEVodafone has the option not officially explained, but offers customers who ask in practice, discovered Tweakers. Vodafone spokesman Jan van der Aa confirms the possibility. “It’s going to be an Add-on of 2.50 per month,” said Van der Aa, “which is valid for all call + sms + web regularly, often and always passes that between 1 and 4 October 2012 March 2013 are closed.” He draws from that customers be careful or their phone 4 g-4 g support and that has already been rolled out to their region.
Subscriptions from before that time are not eligible, as well as subscriptions of after that time. Access to the 4 g network is only possible for subscribers of Vodafone Red; that are relatively expensive and often a lot of data subscriptions with unlimited calling and texting. Or also other cheaper new subscriptions in the future access to get the 4 g network, dares to say Van der Aa not yet; the same is true for the business subscriptions of the telco. Last week it went live 4 g network of the provider.
KPN also, that first 4 g network optuigde, confirmed that the certain customers for an additional fee, gives access to its 4 g network. Only subscribers who have become, for 4 February customer can get 4 g access fee, but it’s not clear what that cost. “We have nine different subscription plans, so it is going on what subscription a customer has and what he wants,” said spokesman Stefan Simons.
Otherwise, customers who do not qualify 4 g access by moving to a new contract. The same applies to Vodafone subscribers.
The decision by Vodafone and KPN to not all existing subscribers to give access to the 4 g network is in contrast to the decision of T-Mobile to that right to do so. In addition, existing subscribers not to pay extra. At the end of this month, the 4 g network of T-Mobile live in Amsterdam; the rest of Netherlands follows next year.Viewing:-164
