Voigtländer announces three ultra wide-angle lenses for Sony A7 series on




Voigtländer brings in the spring of 2016 three ultra wide-angle lenses with Sony E-mount out. The 10mm f / 5.6 is a completely new objective, the 12mm f / 5.6 and 15mm f / 4.5 was already available with the VM-mount rangefinder cameras from Leica and Voigtländer.

It involves manual lenses without autofocus. Well provides Voigtländer lenses with electronic mount, giving information about the focus distance and aperture can be transmitted to the camera. The 10mm, 12mm and 15mm respectively get the name Hyper-Wide-Heliar, Ultra-Wide-Heliar and Super-Wide-Heliar. They can be used on all Sony cameras with E-mount; which are the full frame cameras in the A7 series handsets like the A6000 and the older NEX models.
