VR start-up of Dutch Java pioneer opens office in Amsterdam

The start-up Jaunt of the Dutchman Arthur van Hoff opens an office in Amsterdam. The company for virtual reality content include looking for engineers and developers for the site. Jaunt has an office in London.

Jaunt draws on the Marine Land in the center of Amsterdam. The start-up is looking for among other developers for iOS, Android and PlayStation VR. Headquartered in Palo Alto, in addition there is a European office in London and Amsterdam to be the home of technicians and developers. There is an office in Shanghai.

The company was founded by Dutchman Arthur van Hoff, who is now interim CEO. The Dutch branch is headed by Michael Frackers, which in the nineties Planet Internet set up. Hoff was at that time in the development of Java, where he developed the compiler.

Jaunt focuses on developing VR video and want the whole chain of record offer and audio to post and publish. Include Disney and Google have invested in the company. Tweakers went in 2014 to visit with Jaunt Palo Alto.
