Wasteland 2 is coming to Xbox One




Microsoft at the Game Developers Conference, held in San Francisco this week, announced fifty new titles for the Xbox @ ID program. This program enables developers to deliver independent games on the Xbox One.

In the list of fifty titles is the RPG Wasteland 2 one of the most outstanding games. Game development studio InXile Entertainment, after a successful Kickstarter Gampagne, initially released for PC, Mac and Linux. The game, which include Wasteland- and Fallout creator Brian Fargo cooperated, was released on September 19, 2014 for those platforms. When the role-playing game for the Xbox One appears exactly is not clear. What is known is that the game will appear in a special “Game of the Year Edition, featuring a new combat system, new voice-overs and better lighting effects.

Another notable title in the list published Tuesday that Microsoft is the side-scroller Shovel Knight, who previously for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii and appeared for the PC. Also a number of previously announced games like Smite and Goat Simulator are listed in the list, which Microsoft describes as a “glimpse of the future of ID @ Xbox. The console manufacturer made during the GDC now known to have more than a thousand ID @ Xbox SDKs sent to independent developers worldwide.
