To The “Status” Feature Like FacebookAT & T has launched a new update to its application that provides users with a Facebook social networking feature, the ability to write status texts on a colored background.

With the new update, users can choose a background color for the text case, which can be accessed by clicking the “Pen” icon that appears at the bottom right of the screen under the “Status” window.

After accessing the Text Status screen, three icons appear below, the first to add emoticons, the second to change the type of the typeface, and the third to change the background color, with the possibility of adding links. All backgrounds are monochrome without graphics or gradients, unlike the feature available on Facebook.

To publish image and video situations, as previously, the user clicks on the camera icon at the bottom of the screen, where the user can shoot or add photos and videos from the studio.

Facebook began testing this feature in December 2016, before launching it to all users in March. While Watts began testing the feature earlier this month.

Besides the status feature with the colorful background, Update Today brings the “status” feature to the web version of Watts Web.whatsapp.com for all users, about three months after the start of testing.

The new feature is part of the version version 0.2.5862 for the Web version of the WTSAP application. In this release users will see a new circular icon next to the profile photo in the chat window.

By clicking on the new circular icon, the user will move to a new page with a black background that displays the user’s status, as well as contacts, with the ability to respond to them, just like on smartphones.

Like the “status” feature on phones, users can add images, videos, and GIFs with emoticons and drawing, so all cases automatically disappear after 24 hours.

WattsUp launched the “status” feature last February for Android phones and iOS, as part of its parent company, Facebook, to surpass the Snape Chat service. “Stories” is one of the most important reasons for the company’s success. Among adolescents and young people.

Watsp’s figures show that it has outperformed Snape Chat, as well as the Instagram service with stories. In late July, Facebook reported that the number of Active Status users on Watts reached more than 250 million users, 166 million users at Snap Chat.

The massive popularity of Wattsb’s application is believed to have been the reason for the success. On July 26, the company announced one billion active users a day to service it, and more than 1.3 billion active users a month, sending more than 55 billion messages a day.
