Web shops get range from ‘too expensive’ price Beslist.nl




A number of large retailers, including Alternate and Media market, have taken their product range from the database of Beslist.nl. The price would have been too expensive after making a sharp price increase.

Reason for the departure of the large retailers would be a hefty price increase that has made Beslist.nl. Media market also speaks of “excessive price increases” and left. Beslist.nl, which claims that the more than 25 million products from over ten thousand online stores has listed in its database, has not yet responded to the exodus of large customers.

Beslist.nl performed rather a change in its revenue model by which instead of the so-called cost per click model, in which a retailer pays for each visitor coming from a price comparison, at the cost per sale model. The latter model a merchant must pay a higher amount usually when a customer actually buys a product or service. Then from the merchants hefty criticism came about this change, and the initial requirement to have to place a tracker Beslist.nl decided to let customers now choose one of these two revenue models.
