Webshop OnePlus supports iDeal and no longer requires credit card

The OnePlus webshop no longer requires a credit card to make purchases. From now on, Dutch can also pay via the usual payment system iDeal, the manufacturer says. Since the start in 2014, the credit card or PayPal was required for payment in the web shop.

The integration of iDeal into the OnePlus webshop takes place via WorldPay, a provider of payment systems, says OnePlus in a blog post on its own forum . As a result, the manufacturer can offer locally popular payment systems in more countries in its own webshop.

In addition, OnePlus says it will open an office in Amsterdam. The Chinese smartphone maker will not reveal where that will be exactly. Sister company Oppo is already active in the Netherlands and has opened an office in Rotterdam. That happened a few months ago. OnePlus sells in its own webshop its smartphones, accessories and other products such as wireless earphones.
