What will life in 2050?

What will life in 2050?

Of course, no one can predict the future with absolute accuracy. However, combining the knowledge of today with expected accomplishments, we can make reasonable guesses about what life will be like in 2050. Actually, many science fiction writers have done so from year to year, and nothing worked. In the next few decades, without a doubt, we are waiting for grand breakthroughs. Stem cells, gene therapy and 3D-printed organs will be commonplace.

But it is about medicine. Breakthroughs in regenerative medicine occur almost every day. Now , experts predict that the growth in health discoveries will help us achieve an indefinite lifespan to 2050. As he wrote in one of his books known futurist Ray Kurzweil, “once people are able to change their physical emotional and cognitive characteristics as they see fit.” And oh, how people 2050-2060 years will be different from us.

Hooray, this time is not far off.

Pets nanofactories will also need a family in 2050, as they will provide medical supplies, food, clothing and other household items for a small fee or no charge. These machines can produce the desired products supplied chemicals or wastes within a few minutes.

Robots will also be important members of the family. The ability to create self-assembling robots will lead to the fact that these machines will be distributed everywhere. By 2050, the technology should reach the limit of “Moore’s Law”, but it is believed that this law is not absolute. So, we are waiting for Androids and other technological evil.

Being guided software and connect to the Internet, home robots 2050 will please us in every way (you want it, huh?). Twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week, they will work from home and follow our safety.

Uncovering the mysteries of consciousness, which began with Roger Penrose confirms controversial theory of consciousness 20 years ago. Researchers from the Viterbi School of Engineering have created a functioning synapse using neurons from carbon nanotubes. In their tests sinapsovye circuits operate similarly to biological neurons and because of their small size they can be added to our brains and increase the speed of our thinking.

Thinking at high speed will slow down everything – at least it seems to our consciousness. Perception of accelerating, but activity slows. Events that are in our minds seem minute fly in seconds. We hardly take a wrong decision and not zapanikuem emergency .

After getting acquainted with the non-biological brain, many people are now ready to replace parts of your body more efficient materials capable of self-repair in case of damage. New generation of people growing reluctance to die hard and hopes for immortality.

MIT team undertook the task of understanding intelligence. Together with a team of like-minded scientists hope one day to solve the mystery of our brain.

Interest in space exploration has increased dramatically. China and India are very eager to the moon and already engaged in designing incredible space stations, American and European initiatives planned independent colony on Mars.

Since the coming decades there is a chance that our population is settled on the colonies on other planets, we have to work on finding intelligent extraterrestrial life forms. Some of them may seem strange, but we are made of the same atoms. If only the anthropic principle does not play his own, and a meeting with aliens not be postponed indefinitely. And if it appears that we live in a “matrix” .

And although the outlook in 2050 seem alluring and intriguing, ahead of us serious problems: find the source of unlimited energy, curb the weather and become a global community, free from cultural differences and national problems.

As technology develops exponentially, positivists believe that this magical era will one day be our reward.
