WhatsApp will have an option to share data with Facebook, so it would appear from a test version of the Android app WhatsApp itself has put online. Data sharing with Facebook is optional and is designed to improve ‘Facebook experiences.

It is unknown what data users share with Facebook if they tick the option, reports Android World. The option is in the source file in the text of the new terms. These conditions would be required for functions such as WhatsApp calling, a service that added the chat app last year.

That the text is put to the test version State WhatsApp on the site does not mean that the option will be there soon. Usually follows the release of functions from the test versions a few weeks or months later, but sometimes it takes longer. Facebook took WhatsApp a few years ago, so sharing data is obvious.

Besides the new option to share data is there a way to check the encryption of a chat over a qr-code, reports DroidApp. It would appear from the texts that WhatsApp spreads to translate. When that function is, is also unknown.
