“WhatsApp is on 11.2 million Dutch smartphones’

WhatsApp is present in 92 percent of all smartphones in the Netherlands and is thus a steady growth. Facebook Messenger is available in 57 percent of all devices, there are about seven million. Claiming Telecompaper based on their own research.

Facebook Whatsapp According to Telecompaper let all apps in the top three of communications applications, which includes Whatsapp, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, a growth over the past year. This is evidenced by the Dutch Apps Market report. As WhatsApp was found a year ago at 87 percent of the smartphones of respondents in showing an increase of five percentage points. Last year proved yet that the number of users increased by 18 percent over the previous year.

The Facebook app itself installed on 74 percent of the units of the respondents, something that translated would amount to the entire Dutch population of nine million of the Dutch smartphones. That app turned out to respondents to be especially popular with women. Men in the study on the other hand are more likely to Hangouts and Google+ on their phone. Besides communications apps music apps also do well. The number of users of such software on their phones in the study grew within one year from 41 to nearly 50 percent.

The average use of music apps, however, is lower than last year with sixteen days per month, despite being installed on more smartphones state. Telecompaper mentions as a possible explanation for new users less likely to use programs than existing users.
