Wi-Fi UAE has announced the availability of free Wi-Fi at seven-day higher speeds through more than 400 locations across the UAE, in line with the World Day of Wifi Day celebrations on 20 June.

The service said it would double the Internet speed by about 10 times for a whole week until Eid al-Fitr began on June 27. “Through this presentation, we aim to enhance the happiness of UAE residents by enabling them to connect to the Internet.

The UAE Wi-Fi service is expected to provide wireless networking features at more than 400 locations by the end of this year via its @WiFi UAE network. The service offers two options for users’ Wi-Fi connectivity: free wireless internet access and premium UAE Wi-Fi; a paid service offering users unlimited download / download benefits at very affordable rates.

Du has contributed to the deployment of the UAE’s Wi-Fi service in a number of vital locations in the UAE, including RTA sites such as Metro, Tram Dubai, Emaar Boulevard in Downtown Dubai and a number of shopping malls across the UAE including Al Ain Mall and Al Nabam Mall Al Naim City Center in Ras Al Khaimah, Marina Mall and Lulu Mall in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Mall and Wafi Mall in Dubai, Sahara Center in Sharjah and other locations.

This service provides secure and seamless access to all government sites and applications. Whether you want to subscribe to the UAE Wi-Fi service for business or personal purposes, they can subscribe to the UAE’s premium Wi-Fi service regardless of their service provider by connecting to @WiFi UAE.

Wi-Fi access and premium UAE Wi-Fi can be used using a local Emirati line and any Wi-Fi enabled device.
