Windows and Xbox Music Store redesign in Windows 8.1

Windows and Xbox Music Store redesign in Windows 8.1

About the Windows 8.1 we have already reported one time or another . Pseudo-return on the Start button, better personalization and new features for the enterprise. Also the core apps get a redesign, such as the Windows Store and Xbox Music.

The focus is on ease of use and faster to find content. So when Xbox Music app instead of 6 only 2 clicks are required in order to play music can. The Windows Store will also be easier to use and most importantly show a better app index. New categories, Top Paid and Top Free lists similar apps within an app page. If one of the other app stores known before, so nothing earth shattering.

The Windows Store is for me, a person spends more time than other app stores on your PC, a disaster. I find almost never what I’m looking for it now and have given up. A revision would be good not only for users, but also for the store itself and the developers who make the effort to create Windows 8 apps. What you see on the screenshots, can at least hope that it improves.

The Xbox Music app comes with a nice search box, the contents should display better. The app also music files from SD cards and also will integrate with music that is not present in the Xbox Music Catalog can handle.

Pictures say more than words, so here is the available screenshots. Say it to yourself or are you satisfied with the current apps by Microsoft on Windows 8?
