Wins in glass enclosure 805 Review – Ultramodern design inside and out

The 805 is a beautiful casing which, although primarily focused on looks, works fine. Cooling is perfectly fine and at low rpm makes the supplied fan little noise. Very good finishes, the first USB 3 type C connector into a front panel and a still reasonable price considering making the materials of the In Win 805 a case that will be hard to ignore for aesthetes.

Luxurious materials
Nicely finished
Good performances
USB connector type c

Fairly loud fan
Power not vibration-free
Cumbersome installation by visibility

Tested version: In Win 805 Black

The gray-brown of computer cases of yesteryear was years ago replaced by black, but now it has been almost the same boring image. Enclosures for true gamers have gotten all kinds of exciting forms with plastic bulges, and there are cabinets with fine materials like brushed aluminum, but it’s about time for some more variety.

The Taiwanese manufacturer to Win, once the supplier of generic enclosures, has worked hard in recent times to change that image. The S-Frame that showed the company during the Computex 2014, it was during the same fair in 2015 still frequently exhibited as a representative of innovation in the housing world.

S-Frame is the flagship of In Win with a matching price, but the company has more cases that can be seen. So we looked at this spring, the 904 Plus, a luxury housing with glass side panels and a spicy price. The 805 is very reminiscent of the 904 Plus, but is slightly smaller, has even more glass and, not least, a slightly lower price. Time to see if the In Win 805 is as practical as it is beautiful.
