philips qi station 600×301 Drahtloses Aufladen: Qi Standard bei Mercedes Benz ab 2014 integriert
Mercedes Benz is from 2014 on the Qi standard, so that users can recharge their smart phones wirelessly in the car. A long test we could you already current technologies from Audi to demonstrate what is already built into modern vehicles, but an important element missing from all manufacturers. The German rival Mercedes Benz will integrate the previously missing feature, however, in 2014, because then the manufacturer uses the Qi standard. About this there is known to provide smartphones and tablets wirelessly (short distance) with power, so far have an internal module, the respective devices. Qi was integrated including the Nexus 4, there are alternative battery cover Samsung and Nokia integrates the standard for quite some time in their own upper-class smartphones.
Currently, however, is not yet clear whether because Qi is really the standard for the wireless transmission of electricity, because many manufacturers still refuse to complete and bring with WiPower Qualcomm an alternative to Qi at the start. That is why car manufacturers have set themselves the problem, so slow the first manufacturer to satisfy the need for this technology from next year.
How exactly Mercedes Benz will integrate the technology into cars, seems not quite clear the message on the integration but it is so or so positive.
