World of Warcraft players get extra rounds after problems with expansion

Blizzard, the World of Warcraft players meet after the difficult launch of the Warlords expansion pack of Draenor. Each subscription on 14 November was already active, extended by the developer with five days.

Players experienced nuisance of gameplay- and server problems. The problems occurred mainly in the busiest areas, but Blizzard had also also experiencing a DDoS attack. The maximum number of players was therefore reduced to improve the game progress.

Blizzard claims to be back on the road. The developer is trying to solve the remaining problems, increasing the capacity in each realm is expected to be doubled compared to the capacity during release of Warlords of Draenor. The studio wants players who are affected by the issues surrounding the launch encountered compensate. Blizzard adds five game to the subscriptions of World of Warcraft players who already were registered on 14 November.
