Writer of the Uncharted games leaves Naughty Dog




Amy Hennig, creative director of Naughty Dog, leaves the studio after a service of 10 years. Hennig is the writer of the Uncharted games for the PS3. Why did they leave the studio, is not known, but according to internal sources would leave not been voluntary.

Amy Hennig, Naughty Dog The news was originally brought by gaming website IGN, the message based on “multiple sources close to Naughty Dog. These same sources claim that Hennig ‘is busted “by her peers and Neil Druckmann Bruce Staley, who are responsible for The Last of Us, another franchise from Naughty Dogs. Her last day at the studio would have been 3 March Mondays. Hennig has won several awards for her work on the Uncharted games, including two Writer’s Guild of America’s Video Game Writing Awards.

Sony has told IGN partially confirmed the news. “We can confirm that Amy Hennig, Naughty Dog has left,” said a spokesman, “Amy has made significant contributions to the games industry delivered and we appreciate everything she has done. Naughty Dog’s new Uncharted title will therefore not be delayed.”
