Xbox One puts gameplay footage in 720p resolution at 30fps

The gameplay footage that the Xbox One can lay, fixed are stored in 720p at 30 frames per second. The console holds 1280 by 720 pixels on, even if the game played at a higher resolution. The clips can be stored online.

In an interview with IGN gives Marc Whitten, Xbox One of the chief platform architect, that the Xbox One gameplay storing images in 720p format at 30 frames per second. The console converts the images when the game is played in a different format. So if a game is played with 1080p at 60fps, then the console recorded images downscale to 720p resolution with a refresh rate of 30fps.

Microsoft had already let know that the Xbox One gameplay footage can be preset. During singleplayer games automatically the last five minutes of gameplay included. From these images, the player can then compose a compilation and upload to Microsoft’s servers. During multiplayer sessions can be stored the last 30 seconds.

The PlayStation 4 gameplay can capture images. The Sony console can store 15 minutes of gameplay.
