Xfire unexpectedly with his client for game chats and also stop social service site. The company behind the client says he wants to focus on Xfire Tournament Platform. The client was first released in 2003.

The Xfire Client is immediately stopped . The service provides users with a form to retain the screenshots and videos of profiles. The company behind Xfire says that the game industry has changed significantly and that e-sports now has the opportunity to grow into something huge. “We want to be part of,” said the company behind the service.

“We think we have a position to make an impact to bring e-sports from the pros to the masses, and we can not do that effectively if we the client and the social website should keep” the team writes. Xfire was released in 2003 as a chat client for gamers and in the course of time functionality was added as taking screenshots and recording video to share it on a social site. The client kept detailed statistics on the performance of the various Game.

The end of 2014 the service had 24 million registered users, but services like Xfire Raptr and seemed losing popularity because major platforms like Steam and the Xbox and PlayStation consoles offer the same.
