SHAUMI, the world’s largest mobile phone company, announced today the launch of the new Mi A1 , a new smart phone, the first of the Chinese company in the framework of the Android One initiative launched by Google years ago.

Google launched the AndroidOne three years ago to provide a net Android experience in low-end phones in emerging markets, such as East and Southeast Asia, especially India.

Today, the Chinese consumer electronics giant has announced its “Mi-1” phone, which has a similar design to the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, especially with regard to the dual-camera back-up, as well as the raw Android version.

The announcement of MI-1 came during a special event hosted by Shawomi, which in a few years became the world’s fifth largest smartphone maker in the Indian capital of New Delhi. During which it achieved an annual growth rate of 58.9%.

Shawomi has become a focus on the Indian market after becoming a leading position in China, and it has become the second largest smartphone brand in India after Samsung, according to market research company IDC, with a share of 17%.

The new Cheomy phone, which is available in three colors – black, gold and pink gold – comes with a metal structure with curved edges, a 5.5 “screen and a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution with a Gorilla Glass protection layer.

The phone, which comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back, offers a RAM of 5 GB, 64GB of internal storage space and a 3080mAh battery.

The phone also features a dual-camera dual-camera model for the iPhone 7 Plus. Both come with 12 megapixels, the first with telephoto lenses capturing the basic image and the other with wide-angle lenses to capture depth, allowing, according to Shawami, The pocket has a 2x optical zoom level and the camera has a 1.25 micrometer camera, allowing 56% more light than conventional sensors.

The MI-1, under the banner of “Shami and Google Support,” features an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a USB-C port that supports fast charging technology.

The phone is running the latest version of the Android operating system, and Shawy said that it will be upgraded to the version of “Orio” end of this year, and it will be one of the first devices that will get the version of next year from Android.

Chaoyi plans to launch the new MI-1 as of September 12 in India at a price of US $ 234 and plans to launch later in 36 markets around the world including Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Yemen, Oman and Kuwait.
