Ziggo increases speed 120/12 subscriptions to 150 / 15Mbit / s – Update

As of April 2, the speed of all Ziggo subscriptions now at a rate of 120 / 12Mbit / s have up to 150 / 15Mbit / s. The speed increase is not yet officially announced, but confirmed to the forum of the provider.

On the forum of Tweakers make members a 120 / 12Mbit / s subscription to Ziggo have some time reported higher speeds. A moderator of Ziggo Community confirms that the provider implements a rate increase with the subscription. The maximum download speed goes up from 120 to 150Mbit / s and upload speed will be 15 instead of 12Mbit / s.

The increase applies to customers with the All-In-1 Complete subscription and other forms of subscription whereby the speed is now 120 / 12Mbit / s. In other packages, the speed does not increase. From an advertising brochure shows that Ziggo performs the speed increase on 2 April. Probably the provider has already made adjustments in certain regions. An anonymous insider late Tweakers know soon Ziggo customers on notice of the rate increase.

Update 11:18: Ziggo let on Twitter know that the rate increase will apply to all subscriptions now have a speed of 120 / 12Mbit / s. The plans come without telephony qualify for the rate increase.
