Zotac introduces Mini-PC that can drive four displays




Zotac shows at Computex a mini PC equipped with an APU that can control four displays. The company also comes with a mini PC with an Nvidia GTX 970M and a mobile Intel Broadwell processor. Prices and release dates are still unknown.

The Zotac MA760 , which shows the company for the first time at Computex in June, is intended primarily for video walls. The small system comes with VESA-mount and is equipped with an AMD APU-FX7600P, which can control four HD displays through as many DisplayPort connectors. The system has a com port, twice Gigabit Ethernet and four USB 3.0 ports. Wireless connection can be made via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 ac. There will be two versions: a plus version with 4GB DDR3-1600 RAM and a 500GB hard-write, and a barebones model without storage or memory.

Zotac also shows two small PCs equipped with a graphics card. The Zbox EN970 has an Nvidia GTX970M, the Zbox EN960 has GTX960M. Both PCs have an Intel Core i5-5200U processor, reports Tom’s Hardware. The recently introduced dual-core processor with hyperthreading has a clock speed of 2.2 to 2,7GHz and is normally used in laptops because of the relatively low TDP of 15W. The EN970 has 4 HDMI outputs and can house two 2.5 “drives, also an mSATA slot present The EN960 has mSATA, but only fit one disc in the system once HDMI and DVI once recently… showed Zotac even a Steam Machine with a GTX970M.

The CI521 Zbox nano is intended for home theater use, and is passively cooled. Before Zotac makes use of an Intel Core M processor, according to Toms Hardware 5Y10c with a TDP of up to 6W. At Computex Zotac shows also see the R-series mini-PCs, the company last week launched . These tiny computers are equipped with two 2 5 “-schijfbays, RAID support, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports.

When the four systems in the Netherlands and abroad will come to market is not yet clear. The prices have yet to come out.
