Zotac makes details of its compact Steam Machine known




Zotac introduces BS Steam Machine, a small PC that is equipped with Steam OS. The little computer, according to the manufacturer equipped with a GTX 960 with 3GB, but presumably it is a GTX 970M. Zotac delivers with a Steam Controller.

Zotac announced its Steam Machine in March already, but then were not known all the details yet. Now we know, thanks to the introduction about the little box that full name Zbox-SN970-P. Steam Machine is 210x203x62,2mm large and according to the manufacturer equipped with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 with 192bit memory bus-and 3GB GDDR5 memory. Why the manufacturer has now indicates otherwise, is not clear. There are four HDMI 2.0 ports provided, with which a 4k signal can be output at 60Hz.

The CPU is an Intel Core i5-6400T, an efficient 2.2GHz quad-core of the Skylake generation with a turbo boost to 2.8GHz. There is 8GB of ram installed, which can be expanded to 16GB. Storage Zotac has placed a 1TB HDD. Who wants to use an SSD, you will have to add a self-m2 sata copy. Next 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth, two gigabit Ethernet ports available.
